The LLA (Leprechaun Lookout Agency) needed our help to try and catch Lucky the Leprechaun! We built traps and set out bait to try and lure him in. He was a sneaky and quick little leprechaun and was able to escape our traps, but for our efforts he left us a sweet treat....and a MESS all over our room! Check out our pictures to see all the fun!
Our Read-A-Thon is in full swing and we need your help! We are trying to raise money for new books and more iPad's to use in the classroom. No donation is too small as every penny helps get us closer to our goal! Find a student near you to get information on donating online, or cash and checks made out to the school are just as great! We appreciate all the community does for our kiddos and look forward to hearing from you!
We had so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday last week! Go check out our photo albums to see some of the fun!
Happy 100th Day of School!
We had a fantastic day celebrating together and doing all kinds of activities with the number 100! We even transformed ourselves to see what we would look like at 100 years old! Check out our new photo album to see all the fun!
Under the original calendar, February 24th was originally scheduled to be a student day and February 28th was a required workday. These two days have now been switched and February 24th is the required workday and February 28th is a student day. February 27th is still an optional workday for teachers.
I hope all of you had a safe and wonderful Christmas and your New Year is off to a great start! I am anxious to see all of my sweet kiddos tomorrow and hear all about their time off!
Please remember that we will be jumping right back in to where we left off and our middle of the year testing is set to begin tomorrow! As hard as it is to get back in to a routine, I urge you to please make sure your children get plenty of rest and that they are reading daily!
I can't wait to see how much we have grown so far this year! Thanks for all you do to help make our time here at school a success!
MERRY CHRISTMAS from Mrs. Prichard's Superheroes!
We hope you and your family have a safe and blessed Christmas and a happy New Year!

Turkey Traps 2016
We read "Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving" and learned that the children who visited the farm had set all the Turkeys free! That was a good thing until the President needed to find a turkey to pardon for Thanksgiving and they were no where to be found! We learned what pardoning means and about how traps work. We planned and built turkey traps to present to the President as a way for him to catch the pardoned turkey. Click HERE to see and hear about our traps!
