How to make the #BESt of your time at home.

Boonville Elementary Fourth Grade

8:00-9:20

Math- Complete 20-25 math problems per day, you should know how to do all of this. This will help review what we have already learned!

9:00-10:00

Reading Comprehension- Complete one passage per day in Ready Reading Packet. 

-Read Boss of the Plains pg. 219-239.  Answer 3 questions per day.  Research cowboys and the wild west. https://study.com/academy/lesson/wild-west-facts-lesson-for-kids.html

10:00-10:15

Brain Break- Eat a snack, take a walk outside, stretch, etc.

10:15- 10:40

Language- Wordbuild

*Week 1 page 162, and pg 159. 

*Week 2 pages 181, 177 and 180.

11:30-12:00

Lunch Break!

12:00-12:30

Tuesday/Thursday- Social Studies Weekly

Read one newspaper and complete questions per week. Do not do the crossword puzzle. 

Monday/Wednesday/Friday- Science

Week 1- Read Electricity and Energy.  Work on Questions. 

Week 2- Work on History of the Land Bridge and answer the questions.

12:30-12:50

Math- Do all multiplication and/or division facts up to 12. Time yourself each day and record it, try to beat the time that you had the day before! The timing recording sheet is in your packet. Do this everyday for a change to win a prize!

12:50-1:20

If you have access to the internet, complete I-ready minutes (45 minutes in math and reading per week)

Here is a list of other approved sites after you have your I-ready minutes for the week.

1:20-1:40

DEAR- Drop everything and read! Complete your reading log that is in the packet and return it with 20 minutes of reading each day for a chance to win a prize!
